Description:	Pergolesi's Stabat Mater - a workshop for sopranos and altos led by Mhairi Lawson and accompanied by Jan Waterfield. This will take place on Saturday 9th November 2024, from 10am to approx 4.30pm, at Inverleith St Serf's Church Centre, 1A Clark Road, Edinburgh EH5 3BD. We will spend the day exploring Pergolesi's best known sacred work - the Stabat Mater. Composed during the final weeks of his life, the Stabat Mater was the most frequently printed musical work of the eighteenth century and is a delight to sing.
